Ingredients
- 4 lbs boneless pork shoulder or loin
- 1 cup apple juice
- 1 tbsp seasoning salt
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp ground mustard
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp pepper
- 2 cups barbecue sauce (to serve)
Instructions
- Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker and pour apple juice over it.
- In a mixing bowl, combine seasoning salt, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, ground mustard, onion powder, and pepper.
- Rub half the spice mixture onto one side of the pork; flip and apply the remaining seasoning.
