  • 1 ½ tbsp taco seasoning mix
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup salsa con queso
  • 3 8-inch flour or corn tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend or cheddar cheese
  • Sour cream (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning mix and water; simmer for 2-3 minutes. Mix in salsa con queso.
  4. Spray an 8-inch round baking tin with cooking spray.
  5. Layer one tortilla in the pan, followed by a third of the beef mixture and cheese. Repeat layers twice more, finishing with cheese on top.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes until cheese is melted.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serve warm with sour cream.
