  • 2 tablespoons flour

  • 2 cups half and half
  • 6 strips bacon
  • 2 small boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups uncooked rotini pasta

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over low heat until crisp. Drain on paper towels, reserving drippings.
  2. Slice chicken breasts thinly; season with salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Sear in the skillet with reserved drippings over medium-high heat until golden brown. Cube the cooked chicken.
  3. Boil salted water in a pot; add rotini pasta and cook until al dente. Drain well.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter over low heat; add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in flour until combined, then gradually whisk in half and half until smooth. Add ranch seasoning and shredded cheese until melted.
  5. Toss cooked pasta with the sauce and cubed chicken; garnish with crispy bacon before serving.
