  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter (divided)
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  2. Make Sage Butter: In a bowl, mix chopped sage with 4 tbsp of softened butter and remaining salt.
  3. Assemble Sandwich: Layer one slice of bread with brie, cheddar, apple slices, caramelized onions, more cheddar, and another slice of bread. Spread sage butter on the outside.
  4. Cook Sandwiches: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place sandwiches buttered-side down, then spread remaining sage butter on top. Cook each side for about six minutes until golden brown.
