Ingredients
- 500g lean beef mince
- 2–3 medium potatoes (for chips)
- 1 ½ tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano or mixed herbs
- Shredded lettuce
- Cheese (dairy-free or regular)
- Pickle slices
- 4 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp mustard (dijon or yellow)
- 1 tsp pickle juice (from the jar of pickles)
Instructions
- Prepare Spice Mix: In a small bowl, mix smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and oregano.
- Make Potato Chips: Cut potatoes into chips and dry them. Toss with olive oil and half of the spice mix.
- Bake Chips: Place on a baking tray and bake at 200°C (390°F) for 30–40 minutes until golden.
- Cook Beef: In a frying pan, heat oil and cook beef mince until browned; add remaining spice mix.
- Make Sauce: Combine mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, garlic powder, and smoked paprika in a bowl.
- Assemble Bowls: Layer crispy potato chips at the bottom of each bowl with lettuce, beef mince, cheese, pickles, and drizzle with sauce.
