  • 500g lean beef mince
  • 23 medium potatoes (for chips)
  • 1 ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or mixed herbs
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Cheese (dairy-free or regular)
  • Pickle slices
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp mustard (dijon or yellow)
  • 1 tsp pickle juice (from the jar of pickles)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Spice Mix: In a small bowl, mix smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and oregano.
  2. Make Potato Chips: Cut potatoes into chips and dry them. Toss with olive oil and half of the spice mix.
  3. Bake Chips: Place on a baking tray and bake at 200°C (390°F) for 30–40 minutes until golden.
  4. Cook Beef: In a frying pan, heat oil and cook beef mince until browned; add remaining spice mix.
  5. Make Sauce: Combine mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, garlic powder, and smoked paprika in a bowl.
  6. Assemble Bowls: Layer crispy potato chips at the bottom of each bowl with lettuce, beef mince, cheese, pickles, and drizzle with sauce.
